HK100 Recce #2: Lion Rock Pagoda to Beacon Hill to Kowloon Reservoir

beaconThis wasn’t meant to be a recce. This was just an hours run after work. It seemed logically with living so close to actually run. I am glad I did. After running along the Wilson Catchwater, I ascended to the Pagoda between Lion Rock and Beacon Hill. As I ran the sun dimmed and the lights of the city shone brightly. Just stunning. After a short blast along to the base of Beacon Hill, the climb started. Usually something I hate but with the views that were offered, I couldn’t help but smile at what I saw.

Running down Beacon Hill was fun too and at night I couldn’t help but stare at the red sky. Just gorgeous. Then the Eagles Nest trail down to Kowloon Reservoir was just runnable fun. A really enjoyable run at night. Cannot wait to run this on the day.
